Last Day out of the USA

Today was our last day outside of the USA. First, let me catch you up a bit on yesterday. 
Isaiah slept in. Dax worked at his computer. 
I walked to the Services on M6 to get Krispy Creme and Milk. 
By the way, these are 4.40 pounds for 3 donuts. 
They are so worth it!
Yes, there I was, walking back in the rain on the side of the road with a box of donuts 
(helping myself to two of them) before I arrived at the hotel. 

We found a grocery store to buy snacks for the next couple of days
 and we also hit a delicious McDonald's. 
We got back to the hotel and went swimming.
 Great family time for our last afternoon in Chorley. 
We finished up our evening with an Italian dinner at a place about 3 minutes from our hotel. 
We were the only guests in there other than a man who was asleep over his empty plate. 
(That's always a good sign, eh?)
An elderly lady took care of us and it was just delightful.
Before bed, we packed up in order to return to London today.

This morning we got up early and drove to Lego Land Windsor. 
Dax wanted to reward Isaiah for just being so awesome all summer, 
especially when we were at dinners with his customers.

Isaiah was not impressed with some of the animals--he is spoiled with the 
REAL animals we saw in Africa.

Dax enjoys taking candid pictures of strangers. He keeps them all, good and bad, and just calls the file "FACES"--this one is awesome. It is definitely one of his all time favorites. 
It tells a story. 
Sometimes God lets us see Him. 
We wish we knew who these people were so we could send it to them. Just beautiful.

 Well, we hope you have enjoyed our blog. We have thousands of pictures to share and tens of thousands of stories to tell. Okay, well maybe not that many stories. 
This blog was quite a limited version of our weeks away,
 but hopefully you enjoyed "getting lost with us" on our adventures.
As we also said last summer, 
"We have made enough memories together to last a lifetime." 

We hope we have uneventful travels back to the USA. If we happen to get any decent photos or have any good stories, we'll post again once we return to the states.

(On a side note--thank you Quincey and Stacy for keeping Isaiah's cat, fish, and shark alive, handling our flooded basement, getting the mail, watering the flowers and plants, and keeping an eye on everything. Thank you, Mike and Mendy, and Shirley for the extra set of eyes on our place. And Jim, thanks for our ride to the airport,
 and Cathleen, thanking you in advance for picking us up tomorrow night).
