Morning in Charnock Richard and Afternoon in Lake District National Park

Dax worked this morning, while Isaiah and I slept. After Isaiah awakened, we went for a walk in the rain to find something to eat. We were successful! Starbuck's and Burger King in a Service's area just off of the M6. We walked back and shortly after that,
 Dax arrived "home" from work.

We decided to drive up to the Lake District National Park/Windermere.
What a beautiful drive we had.

Random Pictures

We must get our Snipe out when we get home.

  1. Isaiah loves hanging on docks.

A very kind man, his wife and little girl (oh and the dog) took some time to visit with us.
Yes, Isaiah still loves dogs and misses his Rotts in Africa.

Isaiah is wishing he could get out there RIGHT NOW.

"Okay fine. If I can't hang out in a boat, I'll settle on hanging with the ducks."

"How about we just take that boat out, Mom?"

"Or here is one that no one would miss."

We thought we would all take advantage of this opportunity.

Hmmph! Really? We have to pay to use the toilet? It took all the courage we had to NOT just season the sidewalk and building for free. We gave in and paid to potty.
Unbelievable.

Since we weren't sure what this sign meant, we thought we'd find out firsthand.
You know, the James Bond vehicle can handle anything.

After figuring out we did NOT belong here, we turned around.

There's my British James Bond.

I was distracted all afternoon/evening with the beauty of this place and failed
to take any pictures of the countryside. The stone fences are amazing.

I can't remember the conversation at dinner, but I'm certain Isaiah thought it was more amusing than we did. He apparently was keeping score, too. I think he's one up on us.

Tomorrow we will repack AGAIN, maybe swim, and not sure what else.
Wednesday we head back to London.
