Getting Ready to Leave London

We will leave London later today to head to South Africa via Dubai. We are hopeful for another beautiful day of travel together. There is nothing quite like making family memories together. The key word there is--TOGETHER! Every conversation, every giggle, so many teaching moments and inside jokes. We are absolutely soaking it all up!

Last night I enjoyed watching Dax lure Isaiah into working a math problem. Isaiah successfully converted British Pounds to US Dollars to figure the price of a toy he wanted to purchase. I had to leave the room at one point in order to keep from interrupting.
You know, that teacher/bossy side of me never shuts down.

Last night we enjoyed Herbies Pizza. Isaiah devoured his quickly.
Love seeing that boy put away some food!

At 11:15 p.m. last night, Isaiah said, "Something came off of my braces." We found the rectangular piece. Apparently he knows more about them than I do. He told me where it went and how it should be placed back on. Well, we ended up calling the orthodontist. The office said to just put the piece in a zip lock bag and bring it back--they will fix it when we get home next month. So, we thanked them, hung up and let out a sigh of relief. Not even a minute later, Isaiah then shared with us the entire 2 inches of wire sticking out of his mouth. Geesh, we thought the wire just was not fed into one bracket--turns out, it was not even connected on the left side of his mouth. So, we quickly tried to call back; however, the office was closed. We emailed them and are hopeful for a response before we leave today (keeping in mind we are 6 hours ahead of Kansas City).  Isaiah spent a considerable amount of time trying to fix it with tweezers and a magnifying mirror, but just couldn't get it. Since I tend to "overpack" and Dax has some work tools with him, we have some really good wire cutters.
If all else fails, then we'll just take care of it for him.
