Paris to London

Just a brief update. What should have been a 2.5-3 hour trip from our apartment in Paris to our hotel in London ended up taking all day (yesterday). As some said on Facebook, the travel Gods were not with us yesterday. Our usual route (Piccadilly Line) was completely closed. So, we ended up taking a couple of other trains and a bus. Of course we were able to get in some additional exercise. We had the privilege of carrying our luggage
up and down steps and throughout many train stations.
We managed to keep our humor and enjoy the day regardless of the inconvenience.

Here are a few more pictures from Paris/London.

Before we left the apartment in Paris, we took down our trash/recycle. We had a key to another room by the lift at the street level. This picture is as you walk in the "trash room" and look to the left. This is the view out the window of where we take our recycle stuff.

Looking straight ahead into the "trash/recycle room" at the Paris apartment.

Storage in the same area.

These are the directions taped to the door when leaving the "trash/recycle" room.
The signs told us what to put where.

Isaiah took this photo of us before we went to dinner.

Dax and Isaiah hanging out (last night in Paris) watching TV in French.

Leaving the Paris apartment. I'm certain we will be back to this place.

This morning we slept in and had a wonderful buffet breakfast at our hotel in London. Not sure if we will venture out today or not. We are enjoying our "down time" together.
Tomorrow we leave for South Africa via Dubai.
