Hong Kong to Okinawa

We woke up this morning at like 4:45 and hung out in the hotel. It was nice not to have to rush around and pack up--we took our time and explored the hotel a bit. Then caught a nice flight to Okinawa and spent a wonderful evening with our cousins: Kent, Tritia, Kai and Sofi--oh and the 2 cats! Delicious food, beautiful view, and perfect company.

Checking out more views from our hotel. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it was nice. And, we are sure glad we didn't have to use a taxi to get to our hotel.

Just having fun with with mirrors in the hotel.

When Isaiah was little, he would always be so excited to arrive at a new hotel. He'd yell, "Can I
jump bed to bed? Can I?" Then, the next 15 minutes would be spent jumping from one bed to the other. Well now that he's a much bigger kid, he can just step bed to bed
and if he did jump, he would hit his head on the ceiling.

Walked over to the airport, got checked in and found a McDonald's.
Just a little over US$5.00 for breakfast. Not bad at all.

Almost ready to board.

That sign was really a joke. You really don't board there, you get on a bus,
a crowded bus, and ride to the plane. As Dax and Isaiah always say,
"You know what they always say in China--there's always room."

We had lots of discussion about our lunch on the plane--a sausage roll.
I will spare you the conversation.

Why can't we ever sleep like this little boy on a plane? So precious.

Landing in Okinawa--had a perfect flight (Hong Kong Airlines) today.

And, another bus to Okinawa immigration--not crowded.

We stopped by the market for some vegetables on the way home. One of Kai's favorite dishes is on the left. Just a general photo from the market is on the right.

I don't know what I was thinking tonight. I didn't even take a photo of Tritia and the wonderful table she set. I think I ate more vegetables tonight as appetizers
than I've eaten in the last month. Delicious dips/veggies/chips/etc.
Oh, and this is some kind of carbonated drink that I like.

Tritia finished up supper while we went for a walk on the beach (their front yard).
Isaiah, Sofi and Kai.

Just exploring the beach. Lovely evening.

Goofball cousins.

I don't know how I managed to not get a picture of Tritia and all the food/snacks. ARggh!
I will have to fix that tomorrow.
I also failed to get a picture of the cats.
How wonderful it is to be here to experience time with our cousins in their domain.
Loving our family time!
