Last Day in Okinawa with Cousins

Our last day in Okinawa. Rant, pout, cry. Rant, pout, cry. We have had such a delightful visit. What a blessing it has been to get to spend time with family in Okinawa. So much fun for Isaiah to learn about Kai and Sophia's world. Lovely hosts, lively giggles, exciting exploration, just darn good fun. Oh, did I mention the food? Thank you, Tritia, for taking so much time preparing meals for us and oh my, those dips! YUM, YUM!

Isaiah and I stayed at Kent and Tritia's house, but when Dax arrived, we moved next door to a hotel. Can you imagine all the hotels that we could possibly book throughout Okinawa? Guess what! The one we picked happened to be RIGHT NEXT DOOR to them. We could walk back and forth. So happy that Kai and Sophie were able to come over and hang out with us.
The kids had a blast snorkeling and exploring the reef and seeing some big fish. Fun stuff! I didn't take any pictures of them when they were way out--wouldn't be able to see them anyway.

Probably the only picture in a bathing suit I will ever post. Ha!

I failed to take photos all afternoon over at Kent and Tritia's house--but we really had a wonderful afternoon. The kids spent more hours out reef walking and exploring. The grown ups visited, snacked and napped. Then, in the evening, we went out to eat.
I don't know the name of the place, but it was just up the road from us, and DELICIOUS!

You can see, in all of these pictures, how exhausted we all are. Kent, Tritia, Kai and Sophia still worked and went to school while we were there. I guess we were just tired from traveling.
OH SO WORTH IT!

Getting ready to leave and putting our shoes back on.

Back at the house, we decided it's high time we break out the cards. What a fun evening of playing golf together. You can see our happy and "game" faces in the photos below.

Thanks to Tritia's camera work, we managed to get some photos of the goofball kids.
Lots of laughs on our last night together!
I couldn't get these photos to load in the correct order. Whoops!

I love these people!

We are looking forward to the next part of our adventure,
but sure do have heavy hearts having to leave family in Okinawa.
Thank you for a wonderful week!
