Before bed last night, we heard a loud, ongoing noise.
I went outside and thought, "Geesh, are there some dying cows out there or what?"
Several hours later, we heard a Chinese man yell out his patio door.
He had to be screaming at the damn frogs to shut up.
Regardless, it did NOT work.
They went on and and on and on all night.
I did not bother getting out my phone to record them, but instead I searched on YouTube for a video until I found one that sounded EXACTLY like what we heard all last night.
The rains couldn't even bury the sound of the bullfrogs.
Make sure your volume is up and click on the link.
Isaiah wrapped up (after sleeping in) while playing on his phone.
After we all went for a swim in our pool, Dax and I went for a final walk on the beach at sunset. On our way to the beach, I saw a monitor lizard.
This is not my photo. I found it on the internet.
I just googled "monitor lizards on phuket" and picked one that looked like it.
The monitor I saw was the size of Isaiah's whole leg.
Our final walk on the beach at sunset.
(It finally stopped raining during our swim in the pool and
remained "clear" for our walk on the beach).
LUCKY!
Boy, the ocean is loud.
Not sure if this video uploaded properly or not.
We have arranged a ride to the airport for 7:45 in the morning.
Tomorrow is a travel day.
We fly to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then to Hong Kong.
I probably won't update the blog tomorrow.
It depends on how tired we are.
