Behind on the Blog, MAY 31, PORTSMOUTH

Remember, this is from May 31, trip to Porstmouth.
This morning we started our day with waffles and omelets.

Walked to Hatton Cross and took the Piccadilly Line to Green Park, then jumped on the Jubilee Line to Waterloo and caught a train (Dax named it Thomas) to Portsmouth.

Just being super silly. The usual.

The Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

All of the pictures are of the HMS Warrior 1860, Britain's first iron-hulled, armored battleship. Google it. Pretty amazing!

There were lots of things to see, but we ran out of time. Here are some things we quickly browsed and some we didn't have time to see: The Mary Rose, HMS Victory (Trafalgar), Helicopter Simulator, Mast Climbing in Boathouse 4, The National Museum of the Royal Navy, Stories of Jutland, HMS M.33 (Gallipoli's only surviving "lucky ship"), Harbour Tour, Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower, and the water bus.

Who does this man on the left resemble?

A walk back "home" from Hatton Cross.
